Phil and List,
I have not finished reading through all of the weekend digests, so the question
may have already been answered. Regarding your inquiry about experiences with
Quantum Mechanics, I had my TR3A overdrive repaired/rebuilt by him and I am very
satisfied with the results, now two years later.
He was prompt and it worked with out a hitch after installation. I should add
that because the PO had gutted the unit, I, along with a friend had ordered a
lot of new parts from VB in an attempt to get it running. When we could not get
the thing to operate after 3 or 4 removal/look at it again/try this/try
that/re-install efforts, I contacted Quantum and got instructions on where to
send it.
The repaired OD was returned with the (remaining) bad parts which he had
replaced in a plastic bag, along with a straight forward, detailed invoice of
parts and labor. The cost came in within the range that he gave to me over the
phone.
If you use Quantum, I hope that you have the same good result that I had.

Talked to a chap named John Espizitto, concerning a overdrive transmission
yesterday, he was very helpful over the phone . Has anyone had any dealings
with him and Quantum Mechanics? Were you happy with the overdrive? Thanks
