Craig:
You will probably get lots of replys on this. If you want to go as
original you will use no filler and their will be a seam. If you fill
the seam it will crack as the body flexes. Rust also starts here. The
original fix was to fill the seam from time to time with clear silicon.
When it yellowed or got dirty you dug it out with the fingernails and
put new in. Painting the wings off the car is best but requires careful
reassembly.
