Rick,
Sounds familiar. The same thing happened to me in my Spit rebuild. The
only consideration to be concerned with is the price. Because I had 2
other heads, I was able to get another one rebuilt. Had that not been
the case, I would have resorted to the repair option.
Since they are offering a good warranty, and it sounds like they are
trustworthy, I'd go for it.
