I know this is goin to sound stupid but I've had
really good luck using my wife's left over hair permanent
solution. Just brush it on the connector, let sit for a couple
of minutes and blow off. Does a fine job of cleaning and
removing corrosion and no it doesn't leave a curl in the wires!!!!!
