There is a 1973 Spitfire 1500 for sale in Lakeside, California (San Diego)
White, original, Body good, no rust.
Some work, but a bit rocky around the edges. A lot of electrical rewiring
has been done for some reason/s.
Engine FM7335UE, has exhust header installed, single Stromberg.
Distributor worn. The car idles rough, cold or hot. Runs OK but tends
to overheat. (radiator look good, has electric pusher fan installed.
New Lucas alternator, Transmission smooth and quite, all suspension
original and needing work,
Top worn, window hazy. Seats good but the rest on the interior is rough.
A good project car.
I have no intrest in this car. The seller is asking $1,800 but will talk
about less.
