A fellow I know had engine problems with his Toyota truck (22R engine)--
he took it to the dealer, and they replaced the engine (!!) rather than
fix it.
True, it does solve 'all' your problems (except now some gauges don't
work), but it was expensive! ($2000+)
And I look in the local Used Stuff Publication and there's all sorts of
20R and 22R engines... for a coupla hundred dollars. Go figure.
Maybe they used gold-plated wrenches.
