Gary,
I'm far from a restoration expert, but with the restoration
pamphlet from VB and a complete seat next to you as
an example, you shouldn't have any problems. I just
dismantled one of my seats and it seems pretty
straightforward.
I can't help with a recommendation on kits as I'm having
to explore options in the UK because my seats are w/o headrests.
I took a beating on some PI specific parts from Rimmer Bros.
so I called Moss Europe this morning and they're sending a
catalogue - I understand shipping might be more tolerable
with them? Good luck!

Subject: TR6 Seat Upholstery Questions
The seats in my 74' TR6 are quite sad and I was thinking of making
the $500.00 plus investment in the kits (fabric, foam, diaphram,
etc.) to redo them. Any feedback on the following would be nice
1. TRF versus Moss kits?
2. Should I do it myself or take the kits and seats to a pro?
3. any cost numbers on having a pro install the kits.
3a. Names of San Fran Bay Area "pros" appreciated
4. Any experience feedback is greatly appreciated too.
