1963 TR4 interior colors.

1963(early) TR4. Exterior red. For originality, does a black interior
call for white piping on the seats, or was this an option. How about
door panels,
back panels etc. Is black the proper color for this red exterior.
What experiences do you have with purchasing interior kits and
installing them yourself ?
Any guidance will be appreciated.
