Hi; Saw a picture of the TVR Speed 12 in December's Classic cars. Caption reads: "TVR's latest creation, the outrageous Speed 12, has a 7.7 litre V12 which pumps out 800bhp. The car weighs in at just 1000kg, giving a power-to-eight ratio of 800bhp per ton- against the McLaren F1's 550bhp per ton. The plan is to race this Speed 12 at Le Mans." This issue had a series of articles on TVR and listed their trials and tribulations in the past 50 years. Bottom-line with this kind of talent and ability to overcome adversity and still make excellent LBC's why isn't someone still churning out Triumphs in Merry Ole England??? As for the Herald front suspension....now that TVR is building their own V8 engines I would imagine they are also pounding out their own suspension bits. If not hide your Herald!!!!
