As opposed to a "fixed-head coupe'" (FHC), "DHC" is now a somewhat archaic
term for a car with a folding roof (i.e., convertible). Note that DHC
traditionally applies to a two-seater; more often than not, it also
applies to such a car with real windows in the door, as opposed to side
curtains that are removable (more a roadster, although all these terms
are open to some debate).
