For a temporary measure, I bought a backgammon/checkers game from the
local thrift store and cut it to shape. I then fastened it together with
book-binding (sticky cloth) tape. The carboard was cheap, and fairly
sturdy.
When I get the latch on the glovebox fixed, I think I may try my hand at
aluminum welding (for security)... right now, you can just go in the front
:-)
