Lew,
There is a hole in the crank pulley.  you set the retard on your dizzy
to zero(all the way in), set your timing to TDC(pointer pointing at hole
in crank pulley) then back the retard knob out 13 clicks.  You will
notice that the shaft of the knob has lines around it.  Each line
represents 4 clicks, you should have 3 lines and just a smidgeon of
shaft visable.  This should set your timing to the desired 13 degrees
BTDC.
