Anyone interested in the remnants of a 1974 Spitfire presently undergoing
dismantling in Western Massachusetts.
Car was obtained in the Cape Cod Massachusetts area where it was stored
in a musty garage since 1993, about 65,000 miles on the odometer. It has
severely rusted rockers and floors (mostly gone). Rear frame also
rusted, haven't evaluated that area yet. Color is greenish (code 65).
Engine, Transmission, radiator, seats and carpets (mildew.. yuck)
removed, carpets and tunnel disposed of, seats available but not terribly
good. Driver's seat better than passanger's. Bonnet has rust but looks
good outwardly (small ding in front). Rear bumper removed, front
bumperetts removed and not available. Boot lid is good, as rear clip
also has promise outwardly.....
Will leave it a roller if anyone is interested.. Trades or $ ??
The 1975 (blue) is in similar conditon, but has no rear suspension.
Bonnet good, boot good. Rear frame rotted terribly. Was running till
last winter. Engine, transmission gone. Will load on your trailer...
