Joe,
I need to get all the proper number for your list, but the car is in storage
at my folks house. I will get the numbers a Thanksgiving. The car is a 1970
MKlll, but the engine is a 1969. The DPO blew the 4th piston rod due to lack
of oil. It seems the engine was leaking oil from the sender so he took it off
and plugged the hole with a golf tee. The tee fell out and the engine spun
a bearing.
By the with, the block is good, but there is a small chip a the bottom margin of
the 4th cylinder skirt. An old race driver said that I could grind the chip
half-moon
and re-use the block. Any ideas?
