Jim
I'm glad you asked. I was beginning to think nobody cared about my
doors (or nobody really reads this garbage). Actually, Andy Mace asked
this morning in a private EMAIL.

I had the car repainted last spring to finish off a complete
resstoration (frame-off). The body man was supposed to weld the stress
fractures that had developed on the bonnet (by the latches) and on the
doors at the points where the skin connects to the inside part at the
top. The paint job looked good until I closed the doors a couple of
times and the Filler covering the cracks fell out. I was not a happy
camper. So I waited till driving (and car show) season was over and
complained. I should have them back Saturday with a fresh coat of
Signal Red paint.

But oh how I hate to see the car without doors!
