Oddly enough, I caught this race on TV this past weekend. Our cable
company has just started to provide Speedvision (along with a whole
bunch of other "esoteric" stations) and I just happened to turn on
Speedvision when this race was in progress. I did see the leading Miatas
and the pole sitting Fiat spyder which spun out of contention on the
first lap.
However the thing which made me stick it out for the whole race was the
glimpse in the background of a familiar shape, namely a TR6.
It was definitely neat to see these cars racing on TV.
