Spit-6 follow up questions

Worldly Scions,

I took a second look at a local for sale Spit-6.
The car is a '74 Spit body tub married to a rotoflex
GT6 frame and running gear.  There's a lot of rust,
bondo, and other PO bodges unfortunately.  On the plus
side, the motor starts and sounds pretty good.

Questions:
Motor # is KF883HE 

1) Can anyone tell me what vintage car this came from?
2) Does the "H" denote high compression?
