Bought a '74 TR6 at the Dixon, Ca. brit car show approx 3 years ago. My
"next project" after a B resto. I drove it home,...well sort of. From time
to time I'll play with it when I'm bored with the B and quite frankly been
able to get it to run fairly good with a little TLC and minimum amount of
$$. Good idle at 800 rpm however when driving at approx 2500 rpm I get
some missing and slight backfire. Carbs rebuilt, new hoses, plugs, wires,
points. Vacuum advance works however, one of the weights is missing. The
springs seem to be available but not the distributor weights. My question
to the group is: what is the compatibility of a TR7 dist. or perhaps just
the weights?
