I recently tried syn oil and my leaks increased. I've gone back to mineral based oils and resealed the oil pan(no leaks there). The next leak to tackle is from the timing cover. I stopped at a local LBC shop and was given a price of $200. Is this high? I'd like to try the job myself. Any info would be helpful. While I'm there, what else should I check? I tried Locktite's new product The Right Stuff on the oil pan. So far so good! TIA Hans Mentzen 79 Spit |
