Not likely if it worked until now.

If the parts cleared the cam, they should all be in the oil pan.

I prefer not to think about that.  I have gone to an electric fuel
pump hidden nicely below the tank.  (If you go this route, make sure
you install a regulator valve to keep the line pressure at about 2
pounds. Most electric pumps put out as much as 15 Pounds of pressure.

Good Idea! Further, it is wise to put a good in-line filter straight 
out of the tank.  I have 2 filters on my car.
