TR-4 Diff stuff

OK, so I've localized a little growl I've been hearing 
to my diff.  I'll check fluid tonight, but just in case
it's something bigger, I figured I'd query the widsom
of the net.  Is this a job I should muck with myself?
I've torn apart chebby diffs, but this is a little different.
Are there any upgrades I should think about if I get 
in there?  Does anyone make, for instance, a Quaife or
somelike for the TR-4?
