I've been lurking for a while but now I need the collective wisdom of
the list.
I've been told by a knowledgeable individual that the bushings on my '61
TR-03A idler arm need replacing. Not being too mechanically inclined
(but learning fast) I have the following questions as there is virtually
nothing about this in Haynes:
1) What does the idler arm do?
2) What is a bushing?
3) How difficult are these to replace? How do you replace them?
4) Can I live without doing this (is it dangerous)?
Thanks in advance,
Keith Perry
