Fellow Drivers,
Driving back after having lunch today with some of my Triumph buddies I
took the long way back from a long lunch. Funny how it works out that way.
Anyway part of the trip back to work was on a really great road (out of the
way but fun) that is 4 lanes undivided that wrap around some hills and a
small mountain called Mt. Bonnel. There are quite a few sets of S 's with 35
or 45 MPH signs.
As I was saying a really nice fun road for the GT6. I happened to notice
a Ninja coming up beside me so I let him take the lead and we started the
weave throught the turns and slower traffic. Just after coming out of a set
of S's I just happened to catch a white car in the rear view mirror a short
ways back. It had that "look" about it that I could see even from a
vibrating Triumph mirror.
A stealth slip in front of a slow moving pickup and downshifting to 3rd
I eased back down to what I assumed was the speed limit. As the cruiser
pulled up I was not sure if it would be me or the Ninja. Fortunatly for me
the Bike was pulling away not aware of what was coming. As the Ninja and
the cruiser worked on ahead I sped up, hoping to see my Ninja buddy was
just inbetween the cruiser and the Dunkin Donut shop. No such luck.
At least he got to enjoy the last 45 mph set of S's not knowing he was
being clocked. As we came off the hills and down to the areas where you
could pullover on came the lights and the fun was over. It was a really fun
drive for all 3 of us. It was just a shame one of us had to get busted for
too big a grin.
Keep em on the road,
Richard Ceraldi
