That makes sense also. The problem with a Spitfire is that a simple
plastic cap can be slid out of the way to reveal the spade connections
going to the switch. If someone were familiar with the wiring harness,
they could pop off the necessary wires and vroom, vroom, they'd be down
the road.
But, you're right, who'd do that?
