Hi,
I've been a subscriber to the list digest for about a year now and have
downloaded tons of usefull (and helpful info) I just subscribed to the list,
because it's time to draw on some specific expertise. I'm about three years
into a frame off restoration on a 1966 TR4A. I've got the tub back together
and was getting ready to try to weld in the door seal channels (Moss part
#802-060), but after looking in the Moss catalog I noticed that it says use
them only if you want to use the original seal material. Here's the question
- Should I need put these on or use the replacement seals? And if I use the
replacement seals can I remove what's let of the original channels? I
noticed in an older Moss catalog (edition 3.4 - back cover) a picture of a
TR4 that has the replacement seals AND the original seal channels (empty). I
personaly think it would look better without the channels. Any thoughts?
