Hello!

Well, the summers almost over and it's time to ask that question that is
on everyones mind.
How do you change the rear spring from a Herald to a swing spring from a
Spit?
The nuts and bolts I can probably figure out, but since the axels are
different the U-Joints won't line up.
To bring you up to speed, I have the full rear suspension from a '77 Spit
and have real bad negative camber on my '66 Herald. We tried the cable
trick to compensate but the camber is too severe. So it's time to change
the spring.
I like the idea of a swing spring because it is a "newer" technology.
After rolling the last one because of that flaw, I want to make sure (as
best I can) to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Also, I'm looking for shocks too. Preferably air adjustables for the rear
and KYB's or such for the front. There was a posting not to long ago
about using the shocks for a '66 Corvette, but I don't remember the
particulars and I hope the poster, (or someone that used the advice)
reads this.

I'm posting the shock question seperately too so in case someone reads it
instead of about my swing springs.

Dave
