Keith, How are you removing them? If you are not using a screw in the hole to get them off then it is the wrong way and that will definatly destroy them. You might get some new ones and epoxy or tack weld a nut on the inside to help in the future as the hole tends to strip out easily. Especially if they haven't been removed since Coventry.
