Try calling Nigel Cosh at Spit Bits in CA.  Nigel would know if your GT6 and 
Spit 1500 have interchangable crash pads.

Nigel imports used crash pads  from England (where it's seldom sunny, right?) 
and can get uncracked examples for Spitfires.  See what he can do for you.

FWIW, the Accu-Form brand overlay I got from Moss looks and fits really well on 
my Spit, much nicer than some I've seen.
