Hi Jim,
I'm not sure when the changes was made from DZUS fasteners to screws,
but take a close look at the slot in the head of the screw. It may be
kind of "concave" from side to side. In other words, the slot may be
deeper at the center of the head than at the "circumference". If this
is the case it may be helpfull to grind a slight curve on the end of
screwdriver.
