I wouldn't use rubber again, ever. The poly diff mounts don't compress as
much under load, and don't "go away" over time. The diff tries to twist
it's way out of the mounting studs every time you nail the accelerator.
When new the rubber mounts do a good job but as they fade, the diff can
pound back and forth.  When a gap develops, the hammering results in
failure of the front passenger side mount. Poly is compressible enough yet
holds up over time.  If it were nylatron, it would be a different story. I
have poly mounts in fir almost 5 years, as good as new!
