You might try "rodding the radiator". My '70 TR6 tended to run near the red mark or higher. I decided to rod the radiator ( I did it myself). Now the temp gauge doesn't move up a 1/4 off the peg at 70mph in 90+ degree temp weather. I guess I will have to out the thermostat back in. |
