Hi all. I am rebuilding a j type o/d, and everthing looks good except for the friction material on the clutch hub. the lining looks fairly thin, but I can find no specs in either the bentley, or the factory manual as to what is acceptable for the lining thickness. Does anybody have any thoughts on this? Also does anyone know if if is possible to buy just the new friction material and bond it on to the old clutch hub, rather than purchasing a whole new (expensive) one? Thanx in advance for any help! Cheers, Scott Drake |
