The "J" type o/d gives a ratio of.797 in 4th gear and with a
non-overdrive final drive ratio of 3.70 that equates to a ratio of 2.95
in o/d.

I owned two new 1974 TR6s with rubber overrides and both were delivered
with the "overdrive" emblem on rear valance. Maybe by 1975, they were
discontinued.
