Greetings again!
The recently resurrected TR3B has a rather common problem, the throttle
shafts in the carbs are worn, allowing air to leak. :-(
The result is an idle of about 2000 rpm's when the engine is hot. Not
something I want to impress the DMV with when I get it inspected...
Moss sells oversized throttle shafts, TRF sells rebushing kits.
The Moss setup requires a reamer ($114.95 - ouch) and the TRF rebushing
means a trip to a machine shop.
Has anybody gone thru this? Which way is better?
