Prices too high. Both Parts and Labor.
These older cars do require work now and then but to make it pratical for
most of us one does have to do some work themselves. That is also the fun
and accomplishment.
1. Is the only one that is on the resonable side. In fact, I don't think
that you would be getting new parts in that estimate.
2. & 3. all you need is a $30 spring compressor and you can bolt these
things in yourself.
4. Way high on a bush kit. It is a good bit a work to put all this in.
The real question is do you need it, want it.
5. Way high on two carb kits. Should be about $20 each. If you are very
carful and thoughful you can do this. Cleaner and rags will cost you
another $20. (maybe a service manual for $20-$40 as well) But then you
have your own carbs.
6. Round up the vacuume advance yourself it goes in easy.
