Yes, I saw a Spit on the Isle of Wight that had sheared exactly the same
studs(O/S Rear), although this one had a twin Weber fed Dolly Sprint 16 valve
engine with a turbo in it, could have something to do with them breaking I
suppose. :-)

ps, did anyone go on the Peaks Run yesterday, 50 miles of hills, god I love the
person responsible for the Spitires handbrake.....NOT!  :-)  The old girl did
over 200 miles without a hiccup, the gearbox merrily grumbled, the diff happily
whined, the engine knowingly knocked, and the UJ cheerfully tapped, although I
still coaxed the magic ton out of it on the motorway leaving my friends Vitesse
Mk2 convertible, glad nothing went bang though. :-)  Otherwise my guts would
have been spread all over the place :-)
