Take it from an experienced R/C aircraft builder and competitor...the
best product I've found for restoring our badges is a product called
"HOBBYPOXY" enamel. This is a two part true epoxy enamel used in
modeling - it is gas and nitro/alcohol fuel proof. It's as tough a paint
as you can find. Check out your nearest hobby center that sells
aircraft modeling supplies. It'll cost you about $12 for a small can of
the black base paint and a can of the gloss catalyst, but you'll have
enough material to restore many parts (not just the badges) subject to
weathering and requiring extreme durability. It's brushable and
sprayable with proper thinning..
