I will vouch for the oil pressure readings on my 76 tr6. Startup it's
around 75, and will taper off to around 50 after some driving. As for
the temp, mine seems to stay around 1/4 - 1/3 in normal driving. If I am
in stop and go traffic moving veeery slowly, it will climb to almost
1/2.
The car is compeltely stock (air pump removed).

I'm glad this came up.
My 76 TR6 is stock except for electronic ignition, electric fan,
stainless steel exhaust and Lucas 20kv coil. I'm using only my
dash oil
pressure and temperature guages. At startup the oil pressure is
over 50
and approaching 75 when rpms are above 2500 or so. After
running
awhile, it appears to taper off below 50. I'd guess about 40
PSI. This
is particularly true when I take the highway to work and cruise
at 65 or
70 for 10 to 15 miles. The temperature gets up to the
three-quarter
mark in traffic, but stays a little above half on the highway.
When I'm
moving on back roads with occasional short stops, lots of
shifting and
varying speeds and rpms (our favorite driving) the oil pressure
stays
around 50 at @3000 rpm and the temperature stays a little below
half.
The car responds and runs very well in any of thses situations
however,
so I've decided this must be normal...
