carol, from your discription, it sounds like your bolt for the alternator adjust has lost threads where it engages the nut. if thats the case, your only recourse is to remove the distributer and cut the bolt off, or once off the car you can get a better grip on it to twist it out. the slow ampmeter could be as simple as a loose fan belt - have you tried that? jim king 74 tr6 c13801u http://members.aol.com/jkingnyy/tr6.html |
