On my '71, the first lug fastens to the bolt that holds the engine lifting
tab to the back of the head. It's located at the very top left of the head.
The second lug (the one at the end of the cable) fastens to a body bolt just
below the battery, behind and below the throttle shaft. I assume that is the
original condition, even though my car has had a complete body off
restoration. Virtually everything else I have checked has been as original.
In my case, the PO did a fine job of restoration.
