wheel studs (3/8" isn't very much of a stud...
Another quick way of getting better wheel studs is using TR6 wheel studs.
Uh oh, I should remember if it is the front ones or rear ones that are a tad
longer than the others. Using TR6 studs requires no machine work or major
disassembly, the old 3/8s can be knocked out and the new 7/16 ones can be
installed. And while the original poster failed to mention it, this technique
will work on Heralds, too!
And, finally, 3/8 studs and nuts are all but impossible to get.
Actually, the Fat Chance Garage has both domed mag nuts and standard taper
seat nuts available in 3/8s thread, for those who want to use them.
