Bob,

I can't help you with GT-6 advice, but one thing I like to do on a test 
drive is to find a stretch of roadway with one of those 
continuous concrete dividers that stand about three feet high.  Drive 
next to it with your window open and it is amazing what car noises you 
can hear (due to the sound reflecting) that you otherwise would have 
missed.
