Thanks to everyone for the advice re my stuck bonnet. I had already tried to access the catch from below but didn't have a long enough screwdriver to reach the spot. After removing the glovebox a good sized hole for the heater cable provided access to the catch and it was then a snap to pop open the bonnet. Needless to say, I now have a spare wire around the release so this won't happen again. Rick Burgman 67 TR4A |
