OK, so Georgia now has this new style tag. Which means I
actually had to break out the screwdriver (rather than a
stickon label) for renewal to make the TR6 legal.
So naturally one of the screws holding the tag in place
strips out its hole. (Murphy at work, right.)
What is supposed to be used holding the tag in place? Mine
just has two short sheet metal screws which go directly
into the body. Simple but effective, until I tighten
things just a bit too much (honestly, I didn't twist that
hard!).
Should I just go up a screw size and have at it? Or is
there supposed to be some fancy bracket between car and
tag.
Thanks,
Joe
