Odd.. Airstream is a manufacturer of travel trailers, a.k.a. caravans. I've also seen them referred to as 'silver turds' by the less charitable. They are considered top shelf units, known for their classic rounded aircraft-derived shape and construction. There is a club of owners who get together and travel about together, even to Europe. The things are generally huge and need to be pulled by pickup-truck sized vehicles with large V-8 engines, though they have made a range of sizes over the years.
