Out of curiosity, what type of shift lever knobs are you STAG owners out there using? The stock items are pretty ugly in my opinion and I'm wondering what kind of replacements are possible. Mine seem to have a TR6 knob that has been reamed out to fit poorly at best. I do believe the STAG shifter is much stouter than a TR6.
