Bob,

I know what you are talking about but I strongly request that you and 
others don't take interesting Triumph related discussions off line.  This 
list is here for sharing information and educating us about how our cars 
work.  While the current discussion is a bit technical, it is a perfect 
example of what this list is intended for.  Unfortunately some people in 
the recent past have gotten their noses out of joint when discussions got 
technical and I must humbly say screw them.  It is unfair to those of us 
who want to learn, to be denied because a few vocal listers have been 
critical.  For those not interested in this or other more technical 
threads simply delete them.

Just a suggestion, if the discussion gets very technical it may help 
others on the list if you include simplified examples or analogies of the 
principles or systems under discussion.
