Leaky SU carbs

A friend is having trouble with carb leakage and trouble centering the jet
using the rubber O rings that have replaced the cork gaskets in the rebuild
kit. Does anyone know where  or if the old cork washers are still
available? I dug up one for him and it immediately solved his problem.
