   Brian,

I have just seen your enquiry about inserting a rotary engine into a TR7.

The combination works well, if you are not worried about originality. I
   owned a TR7 with a 12A bridge port for a while.

The DPO had also fitted a Hallinger gearbox, 1 ton brass button
competition clutch, 15x8 alloy wheels with 205/60 tyres, Recaro seats,
etc. Lotsa fun - great performance, and there is a heap of room in the
   engine bay.

The car is still running around Canberra, together with another TR7
   sporting a 13B motor.

Let me know how you go.

   Cheers.
