Brian, I have just seen your enquiry about inserting a rotary engine into a TR7. The combination works well, if you are not worried about originality. I owned a TR7 with a 12A bridge port for a while. The DPO had also fitted a Hallinger gearbox, 1 ton brass button competition clutch, 15x8 alloy wheels with 205/60 tyres, Recaro seats, etc. Lotsa fun - great performance, and there is a heap of room in the engine bay. The car is still running around Canberra, together with another TR7 sporting a 13B motor. Let me know how you go. Cheers.
