Barry, Been there, done that, twice. Once on New Years Eve, don't remember
a lot about that one, but I did see it. Once between Colorado and Las
Vegas, blew the head gasket and had to spend the whole day in Vegas and I
wasn't even old enough to gamble. Bummer. Jane '67 GT6

Well, while I'm not bragging or condoning (disclamer out of the way) I had
to see what the conversion would do so on a trip to Wyoming on a deserted
two lane highway I pegged the calibrated spedo on the Spitfire (well over
120). Maybe the V6 had something to do with it. Car actually felt quite
stable at speed! But that was quite a long time ago. . .when the speed
limit was 70 before all the switching back and forth!
